Tribune Pictures is an independent Media company specializing in the development, financing and production of Feature Films. Tribune sources exceptional IP in unique projects; and with connections throughout Europe, North America, and Asia, works with talented filmmakers internationally on projects with artistic merit to maximize commercial success in the expanding global theatrical and digital marketplace.
To date, we have developed, produced, and executive produced a number of films, providing both financing and physical production services. Our projects have been selected for In Competition and Out-of-Competition programmes at major film festivals around the world and have brought us together with leading filmmakers and talent from across the international film industry.

Robert K. MacLean
Founder, Chairman & CEO

Mr. MacLean has had a distinguished career including head of production at the legendary RKO Pictures, with films financed and produced distributed by top entities Paramount Pictures, Sony, Universal Studios, and Netflix. He began his film career in Paris, where he wrote, financed, and produced documentaries and series including The Last Sailors and Goldlust narrated by Orson Welles, with his early independent productions including Criminal Law starring Gary Oldman, and Kevin Bacon, Bright Angel (starring Dermot Mulroney, Lili Taylor, and Sam Shepard). Robert founded Tribune Pictures in 2016, producing Across the River and Into the Trees (starring Liev Schreiber, Josh Hutcherson) and Julian Schnabel’s In the Hand of Dante. Robert has also Executive Produced and financed a number of films throughout his career including Blackwater Lane (Minka Kelly, Dermot Mulroney, Maggie Grace), Wizard of the Kremlin (Jude Law, Alicia Vikander, Jeffrey Wright), Alpha Gang (Cate Blanchett, Léa Seydoux, Chris Pine, Lily-Rose Depp), and Dead Man’s Wire (Bill Skarsgård, Colman Domingo, Al Pacino). Both Dead Man’s Wire and Wizard of the Kremlin were part of the official selection at the Venice Film Festival and TIFF 2025.

Andrea Biscaro

With a 20-year career spanning nearly 30 countries, Mr. Biscaro has 38 producer credits and has completed over 200 projects across film, television, and documentaries, bringing extensive logistical, operational, and creative expertise to each production. His international experience has given him a deep understanding of the complexities of producing across diverse locations, crews, and production environments. Mr. Biscaro oversees budgeting, scheduling, production planning, and logistics, working closely with producers, department heads, and production teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively. From early preparation through principal photography and delivery, he plays a key role in coordinating the practical demands of production while maintaining the creative and financial objectives of each project.

Lucas Paletta

Mr. Paletta is a versatile creative executive and Producer at Tribune Pictures Ltd., where he plays a central role in shaping the company’s creative direction across its film and television slate. He focuses on story development, visual language, and collaboration with directors, writers, and talent, building distinctive, internationally positioned projects. Working closely with the CEO and lead producers, he is involved throughout development, production, and post-production, supporting key creative decisions and maintaining a clear vision from concept to execution. He also oversees the slate to ensure cohesion, consistency, and momentum across Tribune Pictures’ projects.

Divya Shahani

Divya Shahani practises entertainment, corporate, commercial, financial services, and intellectual property law. Ms. Shahani has been practicing as an entertainment lawyer since 2014 and brings to Tribune a wealth of expertise in several facets of law. Her legal advice is informed by industry knowledge, business strategy, and pragmatism. Prior to joining Tribune, Ms. Shahani practiced as a partner at a national law firm and executive produced various productions.

Justin Ardalan-Raikes
Executive Producer

Mr. Ardalan-Raikes is a media financier with extensive experience raising millions of dollars in financing for studio film productions. He began his career in the London record industry in his late teens, working with major labels before joining the British military in his late twenties and gaining entry into the Royal Marines at the age of 27. He subsequently spent a decade in the City of London working in the ultra-high-net-worth sector, servicing and managing relationships across diversified investment portfolios. In 2014, he returned to the film and media industry full-time, bringing together his experience in finance, investment, and entertainment. He has since expanded his expertise to include luxury brand partnerships and product placement, providing an additional strategic and commercial dimension to film and media financing.
